| I love this piece a lot. It was originally called "Where Do You Go When You're Gone?" but it was too long. I did the piece after finding an abandoned wand in the school basement. It triggered something inside me, a little voice that whispered "Looks like someone lost their innocence." The loss of innocence is tragic to me, perhaps because I feel that I lost mine so early, by no fault of my own. The tutu + vintage converse really felt like me as an adolencent, so I put the two shots together. Hope you all like it! |
